Dr Christopher Price
Christopher completed his medical degree with the University of Sydney and spent his formative medical years on Sydney’s north shore. Subsequently, his respiratory advanced training was completed at Royal North Shore Hospital and he finished his specialisation with a sleep fellowship at Prince of Wales Hospital.
Both of these busy quaternary centres provided him with a great breadth of training across both respiratory and sleep medicine. His subsequent practice as a consulting physician has taken him across the east coast of Australia with postings in Queensland, New South Wales and Tasmania over the last five years.
This part of his Christopher’s career has really solidified him as a “generalist” specialist with a broad range of skills across the diagnosis and management of respiratory and sleep problems. His special interests include a comprehensive, multifaceted approach to spectrum of airways disease including asthma and COPD; investigation and management of common respiratory diagnoses including bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, lung nodules as well as non-specific breathlessness and cough; diagnosis, management and optimisation of obstructive sleep apnoea and investigation of excessive daytime sleepiness including non-respiratory sleep diagnoses.
Christopher takes great pride in his role as a physician and being able to provide patient centred care across the spectrum of respiratory and sleep medicine. His goal is to provide quality and comprehensive care in a clear and empathetic fashion to his community.
