Dr. Anam Khan's clinical practice is exclusively dedicated to dental sleep medicine, where she provides comprehensive oral appliance therapy for patients with sleep-disordered breathing. This includes individuals who struggle with CPAP therapy or require adjunctive treatment due to co-morbid conditions. Her expertise encompasses complex cases, such as those involving temporomandibular joint dysfunction and oral sensitivity syndromes, requiring a nuanced understanding of both oral anatomy and airway physiology.

With over a decade of experience in the field of respiratory sleep science and dental sleep medicine, Dr. Anam Khan's distinctive background provides a strong foundation for her expertise in dental sleep medicine. Her academic journey includes a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and a Fellowship of Dental Sleep Medicine (ASA), alongside a BSc, (Psychology) and GradDip (Sleep Sc) from UWA. Prior to her dental specialization, Dr. Khan built significant experience as a respiratory sleep scientist in major public and private hospitals, providing her with deep insights into the diagnosis and management of the sleep disorders. She has made substantial contributions to the field, notably serving as Co-Chair of the Dental Sleep Medicine Society of the Australasian Sleep Association and as a Senior Lecturer at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia.
